The file extension QPW is usually used by quattro pro spreadsheet files.  It is not uncommon to see QPW related errors but in most cases, any file extension QPW related errors are registry related.

As most QPW errors are registry related, one can fix this by trying out a free registry repair software.  There are a good number of these on the internet.
