Apple’s mobile division must be teaming up with their legal eagles right about now. After all, the frenzy regarding the unlocking of its prized iPhone product is not going to end any sooner. In fact, it just might be peaking as of now. Valued at just under a hundred dollars, the unlock is now available.
Several resellers started taking orders Monday for the first commercially available software that unlocks Apple’s iPhone. The one dealer in the United States handling iPhoneSIMFree’s unlock, which lets iPhone owners swap out SIM cards so that the device can make calls on cellular networks other than AT&T’s, have listed the hack for $99. At Wireless Imports, one of the resellers, the reseller is waiting on iPhoneSIMFree to deliver the licenses. Preorders taken Monday are supposed be filled within 48 hours. Truly, it is almost as hot as when the iPhone first arrived in stores a few months ago.
