Nokia is really making waves in the news. Of course, some have been for all the wrong reasons. After suffering some horrible news after the debacle that was their battery recall, now comes some potentially upsetting news to the company as well as to their highly anticipating fans.
After the controversy surrounding the BL-5C batteries which was later found faulty, now comes word that their flagship business phone, called the E90 Communicator, has hit quite a snag. Nokia has said a defective component in microphones, alongside the high demand, have hampered the availability of the said phone. The aforementioned defect is is the microphone that has caused background noise. While the company clarified it has since then rectified the defect, such measures led to limited availability. A case of a solution leading to another problem, I guess.
Customers have also reported scratches on the phone screen caused by some keyboard keys touching the screen. Nokia said it has now added a strengthening layer on the screens and modified the keyboard, to avoid the problem cropping up again.
