The techiest countries in the world are finally uncovered by Ofcom. The media and telecommunications watchdog in Britain released the report that detailed which countries were into text messaging, which one was into mobile subscription and other tech related statistics.

One of the more interesting stats was the glaring figure involving text messages. According to the report, mobile users sent 429 billion text messages, an equivalent of 967 per user in China. With the number of citizens there, that does not come as a complete surprise, though the figure is still quite awe-inspiring.

In India, the number of new mobile subscriptions doubled to 150 million during the year. What was interesting though, is that 14 percent of the Indian population had a mobile connection. That is quite a study in contrats in a singel country.
