Credit should go to Son yEricsson for infusing the famous Walkman to its mobile phones. The integration of its muic powerhouse with its budding telecommunications tool has succeeded on so many levels. Of course, it is not the innovator of such an alliance and feature. However, it was one of teh most successful as of late in the genre of music phones. After all, you cannot simply go too wrong with a Walkman phone. Whiel it may sound like it is too much of a stretch in terms of brand name, it delivers the goods most of the time.

The latest in this line of Walkman phones is the Sony Ericcson W5801. This slider-type phone boasts of a sexy shape, with dimensions of 3.9 inches by 1.8 inches by 0.5 inches and weighing in at 3.3 ounces, it has somewhat improved on the design front from its previous incarnations. A display of 2 inches small and supporting 262,144 colors, it is satisfactory, to say the least. The navigation keys are also something to look forward to as it makes for comfortable use.

Of course, the multimedia features, particularly its music capabilities, are its main points of excellence. It is indeed stylish and effective on almost every front.
