Sometimes, it all boils down to practicality and basic necessities. What do you really need? Not to be frugal about it but it seems there are times when less actually amounts to more.

That could very well be the mantra behind the new practical and basic phone of Samsung, the SGH-X507. If you are looking for fashionability and sophisticated technology, better look elsewhere. Music players and 2 megapixel cameras? Not a chance!

3) 128 x 160 pixels display resoultion

4) SMS, MMS capabilities

5) GPRS

Even the design of the SGH-X507 reeks of basic features. It is a typical folder phone. However, it does come off cheap with such design and an otherwise plastic feel to it, according to some reviews.

Alas, it also suffers from an atrocious call quality tha would definitely hurt the consumer even more than it should.
