The Samsung FlipShot SCH-U900 is a flip phone that has focused most of its features to camera-realted stuff. It has a standard, boxy, flip phone design with straight lines and sharp angles. Also, there is a standalone camera when viewed from behind because of the large camera lens and flash. Of course, it should never be ignored it has a swiveling display that can rotate 180 degrees for further camera use in its maximum potential.
Measuring at 3.76 x 1.83 x 0.73 inches and weighing in at 3.88 ounces, the FlipShot is a comfortable phone. There is a 65,000-color external display that measures 1.25 inches and 128 x 96 pixels. There, it is able to show the photo caller ID and other information such as the time. Just below the display is touch controls for the music player.
While the camera has an impressive photo quality, the same cannot be said about the phone’s call quality. Also, the video streaming leaves a lot to be desired. It works better as a camera than as a phone, simply put.
