Music and gaming go hand-in-hand in the newest and most anticipated addition to the Nokia N-series. The Nokia N81 supports both the Nokia Music store and the resuscitated N-Gage gaming platform of the manufacturer. The idea of having a music phone and a gaming equipment is quite an intriguing prospect. However, reviews have mostly skewered the N81.
The physical specimen is not the usual slender unit released these days. On the contrary, it is quite the exact opposite. On the front, there is a 2.4-inch diagonal non-touch screen that could tackle 16.7 million colors at a 320 x 240 pixel resolution The N81 measures 4 inches tall by 1.9 inches wide by 0.7 inch deep and weighs 4.9 ounces. the navigation controls takes a lot of patience to master.
It does not support 3G as well. It does have some great features too. A 2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and e-mail capabilities are some of its better assets. Still the negatives kind of takes away the potential of the Nokia N81.
