A Nokia smart phone? Better believe it. Let us introduce you to the first Nokia 3G Symbian smart phone, the Nokia N75.
The much-hyped phone is under intense pressure to deliver. After all, it is from Nokia and
it has been anticpated ever since some leaks have come out of the Net. Here are some specs and features for you to chew on:
1) Infrared, Bluetooth interface
2) Standby time: maximum of 200 hours
3) Symbiam OS 9.1
4) GPRS
5) 1 MicroSD expansion slot
Its messaging features is something it can be proud of. It supports the following: PDF, ZIP Manager, MS WORD, Excel and PowerPoint. Also, the smart phone supports E-mail protocols like POP3, SMTP and IMAP4.
The N75 also features a digital player, digital camera and FM radio. Only catch is, you cannot directly get tracks using the phone. Well, at least there is a whole subsection allotted for music purposes. As for the digital camera, the picture quality lacks the the zest found in other phones in the N-series that boasted Carl Zeiss optics. Sigh.
The beef reviewers have and consumers would probably have is the talk time and battery life. It is just way too short. Maybe because of the 3G and the other tech stuff found. Still, it is quite an anomaly for such a well-hyped phone. The good call quality could not make up for such a liability.
