Bottomline: Oh, heck, just look at it. Nokia gets six stars for innovation here.
Pros: An amazing-looking phone. Startlingly complete feature set considering its size, including Bluetooth, speakerphone, Class 10 EDGE, and an FM radio.
Cons: Difficult to dial (especially if you’re not at your sharpest). Needs speaker-independent voice dialing. Possibly short battery life.
The good: Eye-catching looks; generous internal memory; triband; good voice features.
The bad: Impractical keypad alternative; small LCD display; poor user-friendliness; short battery life; overpriced.
The bottom line: Throwing away the conventional keypad, the Nokia 7280 isn’t for traditionalists and recommended only as a secondary phone.
This is a totally out of the usual phone standard. Its more like a fashion phone. The sleek and sexy Nokia 7280 offers a completely new mobile phone design, foregoing the traditional keypad for a discreet keyless dial. I can say that its more of an art with some phone technology.
The Nokia 7280 is perfect to whip out at cocktails, and is geared to attract attention and become the talking point at any high glamour soiree. Its VGA camera can snap the latest and greatest while the active slide means calls can be answered or ended with a flick of a wrist.
