For many years, the world has seen the many battles between Steve Jobs and bill Gates. As the titans behind Apple and Microsoft respectively, they have tried to outdo each other’s products. Each has had their respective successes and defeats. However, has age made them simmer down and become less competitive?

This could be all the more possible after Gates recently said that his company has no plans to put their own phone in a way to combat the popularity of Apple’s iPhone. While he also reiterated that there are still ongoing plans to strengthen the Windows Mobile platform, coming up with their own version of a mobile phone is not in their immediate future.

This may seem like less competitive of Mister Gates but take note of how strong their platform is. After all, the Windows Mobile is part of some of the more famous handsets out there in the market. You may be using one right now.
