It used to be books that were always held by people. That was a very long, long time ago. Now, gadgets, specifically handheld/mobile phones are the ones being brandied about in public. Time flies by so fast that books are now found in desktops or through E-books. Audio books used to be the future. Now it has become the norm.

Such is the case that books have become a bit of a passe. Nowadays, those with books are usually students or scholars. Those who only have their cell phones are the fashion-forward people. Still, technology could help boost awareness on many books these days. One such aid could come from the mobile world’s most talked-about product in years.

Apple’s much anticipated product called the iPhone could be the new haven for book lovers or bookworms all over the world. Apparently, it would be able to include digital books in teh very near future. HarperCollins Publishers said it would make digital book content available for the iPhone. In a statement made by the publishing unit, the publisher will make samples from 14 new titles available in an iPhone-compatible format through its browse inside application. Browse inside is an application that allows consumers to sample pages of HarperCollins titles online.
