Levi’s is launching a cell phone. Yes, that Levi’s! The Levi’s brand of jeans, in relative response for calls from its young consumers to answer the apparent need for cell phones that are fashionable like denims, is releasin a steel mobile phone to its growing list that populates its lifestyle accessories.

The phone is touted as a way for Levi’s to show that it “embraces mobile technology” and would thus enable its young core audience to among other things, connect through mobile technological advancements, play music tracks, share photos and video stills while they are anywhere they choose to be. In short, for those shirts and jeans people who are always busy, this one’s for you!

To be able to relive the Levi’s experience through your phones and not just in your pants, the phone has a compact design complete with a riveted steel casing. Of course, it is complete with a detachable chain to allow you to fasten it to your 501s. It comes in the following colors: metallic silver, black and brown copper.

It is said to be available to parts of Europe by September 2007.
