I’ve been noticing that most browsers in mobile phones are eiter Internet Explorer, or opera based. Now that google has Chrome, and android at the same time, you can bet that google will use Chrome on android. The iphone of course has safari. So the question is, is firefox relevant enough to be put into a mobile phone?
A lot of the desktop users have embraced firefox because of its addon/extension capabilities. I guess this is what Mozilla people can count on to propell firefox into the mobile world.
Given the choice, I would like to see firefox on my mobile. Since I shifted to firefox, I have learned how to use it and be productive with it. I’m sure a lot of people felt the same. Plus, I can just imagine people creating addons for mobile if they aren’t happy with the existing mobile browsing functionality.
