You can take this news to the bank. Then again, maybe you can take it there through your mobile phone.

To some people, going to the bank is too much of a chore. It takes plenty of time away from your day and it could be too much of a hassle. It may have brought too much stress that soem may be wishing that their banking responsibilities be taken care of using their mobile phones. Well, good thing a mobile network listened and is answering your prayers.

AT&T last week unveiled a new mobile banking platform that would let users be able to do their banking transactions through their own cell phones. The company has stated that it is planning on preloading the banking application onto new handsets toward the end of the year, and will also allow users to download the application onto more than 30 different handsets. The application will allow users to view their account balances, to transfer funds and pay their bills using their mobile phones.

To date, some U.S. banks are taking advantage of this new platform.
